Outdoor Activities

Learn more about the volcanoes that developed the Hawaii chain of islands at the Volcanoes National Park. They offer ranger program tours as well as beautiful hikes.

Kahalu’u Beach Park is a favorite bay for snorkeling, especially with its easy accessible rental gear and beautiful tropical fish. Guests can get up and close with exotic tropical fish and Hawaii’s underwater ecosystem.

La’aloa Beach Park and White Sands Beach are small patches of beach is known transforming in the winter to a rocky shore and being an amazing beach for body surfing and splashing fun the rest of the year.

Pu’uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park is a sacred site and was a sanctuary in old Hawaiian history. Those that broke the laws could find relief from their pursuers at this site. Guests can tour this sacred site with respect for it’s importance.
